Mokracy
Mokracy's first major performance (as Cherry Psycho) was the pre-show entertainment for Shakespeare in the Park to a crowd of over 300 people. This was preceded and followed by various small-venue performances and opening sets for a few local acts, as well as performances at Cheapside and locations for the Downtown Lexington Association.
The twists of life put Cherry Psycho on permanent hiatus, but the duo reformed as Mokracy in early 2009 and immediately began playing popular local venues like O'Neill's and Azur Bar & Patio, and then found a regular home away from home at Saddle Ridge.
Mokracy now turns their focus to expanding to new venues and spreading their art to new groups of music lovers in the Central Kentucky area and beyond. With invitations to play at Cheapside, Grapevine, Cosmic Charlies and other hot venues, expect to see them in your favorite watering hole soon!
